The big night is edging closer as the Crows look forward to launching their new album release, Invisible Highway, from 8pm at The Lighthouse Music & Arts Pub, 50 The Strand, Walmer, Deal, Kent CT14 7DX. It promises to be a cracking evening.
Joining the Crows onstage will be Bryan Orwell on keyboards and Steve Moreham on violin both of whom played on the album. Bryan and Steve have also played on previous albums and EP's by the band. Unfortunately, Dave Kirk, who contributed some wonderful pedal steel guitar on 3 tracks on the album, is unable to participate. We wish Dave all the best and hope to have him join us on stage sometime in the near future.
Support on the evening will be provided by Tom Cole who hails from Hastings, East Sussex. Tom will be playing songs from his excellent new album entitled 'Stops on the Way to Here.' Tom crafts heartfelt songs from everyday life, with a softly understated vocal style underpinned by a mix of Merle Travis style fingerpicking and country flatpicking.
There will be an opportunity to obtain cd's on the evening for both The Old Country Crows and Tom Cole.
Showtime is 8pm with Free Entry.
