Christmas Day is coming once again...

Updated: 4 days ago

2024 has been a busy and successful year for The Old Country Crows with memorable highlights being the Invisible Highway album launch show at The Lighthouse, Walmer, Kent, a couple of excellent festival shows at Sandwich Folk and Ale Festival and Faversham Hop Festival and a wonderful evening at St. Edith Folk in Sevenoaks, Kent. The success of Invisible Highway has been very encouraging as the band look to move on to bigger and better things. Great memories from 2024 and the band are now preparing for 2025 with some personnel changes on the horizon which will be announced shortly.
We would like to wish all our followers a very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. Many thanks to friends and family for your wonderful support and we will see y'all back out on the road in 2025.
For now, get yourselves in the Christmas spirit with a dose of Christmas Crows and their Another Christmas Song 5-track EP from 2017 which among other social media platforms can be listened to on Spotify at the following link: -

The title track is accompanied by a festive video which is available to view on this website.
Recorded and produced by Kevin Thorpe at Big Jam Studios in Sittingbourne, Kent the 5-track EP contains the following songs: -

1.  Another Christmas Song
The collection commences with a jumpy, cheerful, folk-driven take of ‘yet another Christmas song’ but carries the message of, "well, let’s do this and remember those loved ones that are no longer with us."

2. Christmas Day
Feel the ice biting in this winter ballad as people everywhere are preparing for Christmas with the days growing shorter and cold winter days and nights are just around the corner.

3. Carrying Christmas In Your Hands
A story of the lonely person expecting to spend Christmas alone until he/she sees the one person that can ‘save’ Christmas walking along the road, coming home through the festive night.

4. Snow Over Southern England
Acoustic-driven folk song with catchy melody and sing-a-long vocal lines.

5. The Other Side Of Evil
A reminder that at the time of year when family and friends spend time together there is still a world out there where there are atrocities committed that are so bad that they are on ‘the other side of evil.’
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year from The Old Country Crows!
