The Old Country Crows would like to announce that our bass player, Ian Bottle, has departed the band over the summer. Despite rumours to the contrary the parting is amicable and it is agreeable with all parties that the time is right to move on. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Ian has been in the Crows since March 2011 and has never given less than 100% to the cause. His carefully constructed weaving bass lines are an integral part of the band's sound and his professional approach whilst recording the Crows' album in 2013 and his wonderful playing on the tracks has been highly acclaimed. He will be a hard act to follow and we thank him for everything he has done for the band and we wish him well for the future.
In the meantime, Deal based Steve Bell will stand in on bass duties for our upcoming shows and the band will hope to announce a new bass player and drummer very soon.
