A hearty and sincere audience supported the band for a debut show at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns in Cliftonville, Margate on Sunday 16th June 2024. A couple of hours before showtime the weather conditions did not look very promising indeed with dark clouds circling overhead, a random fierce driving wind and occasional rain showers. However, the hand of fate intervened and by the time the Crows blasted into 'Cry Another Day' to commence proceedings the sun had got it's hat on and the band went on to play a 27-song set which was very warmly received by the audience.
The band played 11 songs from the new album, Invisible Highway along with tracks from their other recorded material and a handful of classic covers.
The Old Country Crows would like to thank the representatives of The Oval Bandstand & Lawns, namely Simon Bell and his team for booking the band and for their hospitality on the day.
But mostly, we would like to thank the wonderful audience for attending in auspicious weather conditions and for their excellent support throughout the afternoon.
