The Rain Doesn't Rain On The Crow's Parade at Canterbury !

The Crows performed two shows on Friday 27th September and Sunday 29th September 2019 at the Canterbury Food & Drink Festival located at Dane John Gardens.

As much as the rain persisted it could not dampen the spirit of the visitors to the festival and the artists performing over the weekend.

A special bonus over the weekend for the band was the appearance on the drum stool for the Sunday show of Mr Brandon (John Henry Bonham) Virtue - son of Gary Crow. Playing his first ever show, due to unavailability in this instance, Brandon suddenly became a little twitchy in the minutes running up to the performance but soon settled down once the opening chords of 'The Places I Have Been' cut through. The band went on to play some favourite Crow numbers and the songs appeared to be a hit with the audience. Brandon did a fine job and received some excellent comments on his performance.

The band would like to thank Terry and Mark of Mark One Music for the excellent sound on both days and it was good to see DJ Lee Edgington spinning the discs between acts once again.

Once again an excellent weekend of food, drink and music and we hope to return for more of the same in 2020 !
